Multi-page site
A multi-page website allows you to present and expand your business, club or society online and gives your customers and members easy access to information and services.
The basic multi-page package gives you up to five pages to use as you wish and includes a free contact form, allowing people to easily email you directly from the website.
Art, design & photography
We will include any artwork you wish to supply, such as logos and photographs, and the price of the site includes the use of up to three photographs* of your choosing from the iStockphoto image library. We will use up to 25 photographs/illustrations per site in the basic price. Depending on their size, and at our discretion, we may limit the number of images per page if we feel that the flow and readability of the page will be adversely affected by the inclusion of too many pictures.
We will make minor adjustments to your images, if required, to make them suitable for web use, e.g. sharpening, dust-spot removal and colour correction.
We can also take and supply photographs for you at competitive rates.
Hosting
We will register for you free of charge, subject to availability, the UK domain name of your choice, eg yourbusiness.co.uk, immediately giving your site a more professional look. We will also give you up to five email addresses, such as This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , so that queries can be directed easily to the relevant person.
Other domain types (eg .com) and extra email addresses are available for a little extra cost.
Your site will be hosted on secure servers for one year after which time, for a small annual subscription, we can continue hosting. Alternatively you are free to move your site to another host.
Search engine optimization (SEO)
With the inclusion of appropriate keywords in both the page content and hidden in the background of each page your site will be optimized so that it will have a better chance of being found by potential customers using popular search engines such as Google. We will discuss with you any changes to your supplied content that will improve the chances of your website being found by the search engines. We will also submit your site to these search engines so that they are indexed there.
With multi-page sites we will include a sitemap which is like an index of the pages on your site. It helps visitors and, perhaps more importantly, search engines find all the pages on your site.
What we need from you
Before we start a website for you we will require the following:
- Draft text for each page of your site (max 300 words per page), ideally in a Word document or text file. We will proof-read your text and make spelling and grammatical changes where necessary. We can compose text for you if required at competitive rates.
- A copy of your company logo (if applicable).
- Any photos you would like including in your website.
- A list of any other websites you like the look and feel of so we can see what kind of design you are looking for
* these will be extra-small size (max 400 pixels high/wide)
